Councilman Tom Simplot invites residents to a Community Resource Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, May 2, at Golden Gate Community Center, 1625 N. 39th Ave. This is an opportunity for residents to learn about resources and services available from the city of Phoenix and local community organizations.
“Based on feedback from residents, they want to know more about services offered by the City of Phoenix. From College Depot to information on how to get a building permit - we will bring City Hall to their neighborhood," said Councilman Tom Simplot.
This event is produced by Councilman Tom Simplot's office and Golden Gate Community Center, with participation by area community organizations and the city of Phoenix.
Fifteen city departments will participate, including Phoenix Sky Harbor, Community and Economic Development, Neighborhood Services, Finance, Water and Police, among others. The City Clerk Department will offer on-site voter registration and Phoenix Public Library staff will be available to sign participants up for library cards. Complimentary breakfast foods will be provided.
