The city of Phoenix invites residents to attend and offer feedback at two community meetings on the City of Phoenix Employees Retirement System pension reform process.
The meetings are scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, at the Washington Activity Center Auditorium, 2240 W. Citrus Way, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Burton Barr Central Library Pulliam Auditorium, 1221 N. Central Ave.
On Sept. 25, the City Council is expected to review additional actuarial analysis requested at the June 19 Council Policy Session. Based upon the adopted pension reform schedule, the City Council may take action on pension reform at this meeting.
