Asurion, a global leader in providing consumer technology protection services for mobile phones and other electronics, today held a grand opening and ribbon cutting of the new 64,000-square-foot Phoenix technical support center.

Since opening our doors at the end of September, we have trained and graduated our first class of support technicians. The Arizona Commerce Authority, Greater Phoenix Economic Council and Phoenix’s Community and Economic Development Department partnered to identify optimum real estate options.
“Working together as regional partners to attract great jobs is an effective way to invite business opportunities and industry leaders like Asurion,” said Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton. “Phoenix worked to meet plan review and permitting deadlines, and connected local talent to Asurion by leveraging high-value employment networks, helping the company save time and money.”
In August, Asurion held a hiring event to fill more than 500 positions including operations managers, supervisors, training managers, training specialists, subject matter experts, technicians and human resource personnel.
