From the ridge line of South Mountain Park Preserve (the largest municipal park in the country) to farm fields, urban neighborhoods and historic landmarks, the village offers many different living environments. The village is convenient to downtown, the airport and significant employment centers. South Mountain Village is established but in many ways a young developing area with an emphasis directed towards maintaining and enhancing its rural atmosphere.
The South Mountain Village Planning Committee generally meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the South Mountain Community College Student Union, 7050 S. 24th St. Please consult the public meeting notices page for an agenda to confirm that the meeting will occur.
