Spill Control
Spill control kits should be clearly labeled, adequately stocked and stored near chemical storage. The kit typically includes gloves, brooms, shovels, absorbents (such as booms, pigs or sand), and waste disposal containers. Spills should be cleaned up using dry clean up methods: apply absorbent, sweep up, and dispose of properly.

Proper Spill Kit
Spill kits should contain, at a minimum, dry absorbent materials (kitty litter, pads), broom, dust pan, and garbage bags with ties.
