Artist Lloyd Hamrol designed a wide range of architectural/artistic features for the 7th Avenue Bridge at Cave Creek Wash. They include landscaping along the hiking/biking trail system; colored concrete and patterns; relief patterns on the bridge wingwalls, abutments and columns; and artist-designed barrier railings. The design is meant to be a prototype for the future development of wash area.​​
