Please note: all ArtCorps student worker positions receive $17/hr before taxes and work 400 hours over the course of the semester (around 15 - 20 hours a week). What you'll do

The student’s areas of responsiveness include Google Ads updates, search engine optimization, and other social media platforms for marketing, Festival exposure, and promoting future events. The student will be working directly with the Executive Director and his assistant to obtain promotional materials and event information necessary to complete their projects. The student will learn how to use social media, and marketing strategies best practices to obtain optimal results.

Specific responsibilities

​​The Program Assistant will: 

  • Other responsibilities include logistical support for the presentations.


Desired qualifications​

  • The festival is seeking a student with marketing and technology skills to be used with social media. An appreciation and interest in Classical Music, and the history of the holocaust is preferred.

Executive Director Moshe Bukshpan

The RRMF is interested in hosting a student worker to assist with social media, promote events, as well creating community awareness, and reaching new and diverse audiences. We are excited about having a student who can bring new ideas and perspectives. This opportunity can serve to grow our audience base and contribute to our community.

Professional Biography

Moshe Bukshpan, Executive Director, founded the Red RRMF in 2002. Mr. Bukshpan committed to bringing world class programs & Music education to Arizona. His responsibilities contracts with venues, and overseeing daily operations. Moshe is open and eager to consider new ideas in order to reach and grow the festival’s diverse audiences.

Red Rock Music Festival

Phoenix-based Red Rocks Music Festival contributes to the Valley’s cultural offerings through an annual series of public concerts in festival style. The Festival began in Sedona in 2002, where it continues to present an annual festival, and grew to include seasons in Phoenix, and a Winter Chamber Institute. Since inception, The Festival has presented top instrumentalists from around the world and Arizona. Programming includes new works, popular works, Arizona premieres, and less-frequently performed works. Outreach and master classes are conducted free of charge to young music students.

About the program

The Phoenix ArtCorps​​

The Phoenix ArtCorps is a student employment program from the Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture  that seeks to provide students with​ the comprehensive skills, mentorship, and experience ​they need to launch their arts and culture careers. Over the course of the 2024-2025 academic year​, each student works 400 hours for $17/hr (around 15 to 20 hours a week), with additional stipends and professional development opportunities. To apply, students must be current or recently graduated undergraduate students at a community college, university, or other institution of higher education based in Phoenix (or live in Phoenix themselves). Applicants must be at least 18 years old. There are no other enrollment requirements. Students do not need to be majoring in the arts or similar fields to apply.
