This board shall: 1) Hear and decide appeals of decisions made by the Zoning Administrator in enforcement of the Zoning Ordinance. 2) Hear and decide appeals from the action of the Zoning Administrator in the granting or denying of variances, the issuance of use permits, or in the interpretation of the provisions of this ordinance. 3) Hear and decide all matters referred to the Board by the Zoning Administrator.

Meeting Frequency:
Once per month on the first Thursday at 12:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
Board Composition:
The board shall be composed of seven (7) members who shall be residents of Phoenix. Members shall be appointed by the City Council. Each appointment shall be for a term of four (4) years.
