​​​Police Reform 

For more than a year, the Police Department has been actively engaged in numerous initiatives designed to enhance trust within the community and strengthen police-community relationships. Some of the initiatives undertaken were outlined in the Chief’s Five Point Plan, which she presented to the City Council in July 2019, while others resulted from recommendations made several months prior through a study conducted by the National Police Foundation. These graphics highlight the progress attained for some of these initiatives over the past year.​
