The Pawn/Metal Theft Detail is part of the Burglary unit withing the Property Crimes Bureau. Personnel of the Pawn/Metal Theft Detail are Responsible for the administration and investigation of the following crimes.
Pawn Detail (Processes and inspects transactions from Pawn and Secondhand stores withing the city of Phoenix.)
Metal Theft (When a suspect steals metal from either a business/building or vehicle the case gets assigned to an investigator in this detail. The most common metal theft is catalytic converters.)
