March 31, 2012, Phoenix Police responded to a homicide at 8400 West Lewis.  The victim, Ricky Hernandez, was shot and killed during an apparent robbery.  The two suspects, Antwon Glass and Leshon Jones, had agreed to meet with the victim under the guise of purchasing marijuana.  Their true intent was to rob him.  During the robbery, the victim was shot and killed.

June 15, 2012, Phoenix Police responded to 5400 West Beautiful lane regarding another homicide.  The victim, Keith Colbert, was shot and killed at a party.  Keith Colbert was a friend of Leshon Jones.  Leshon Jones, Latroy Timmons, Darnell Lemons, Bryson McGee, Keith Wilson, and Ramon Cummings believed they knew who was involved in Keith Colbert's murder.  They began conspiring to retaliate against a rival gang.  They identified individuals and neighborhoods on whom to retaliate.

During the investigation, detectives conducted surveillance on these individuals and discovered they had obtained ammunition from a local sporting goods store.  These individuals were then seen at an outdoor shooting range in north Phoenix.  These individuals were observed as they "practiced" with handguns, assault rifles, and a shotgun.  Due to the urgency, Officers stopped these individuals once they left the outdoor range.  They have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

These individuals and the remaining associates were involved in conspiring to commit robberies, burglaries, and were involved in drug possession and sales.  The arrest of these individuals undoubtedly prevented additional homicides and shootings from occurring.  All individuals were gang members or associates of gang members.

Of the 35 individuals indicted, 20 are currently in custody. Note: some photos have been left out due to the age of the suspect etc.
