Carpenter worked closely with project architects from TranSystems, Inc. to integrate his expansive sculpture into the building's walls and skylights. The glass installation is suspended above the Customer Service area in a curving steel and aluminum lattice beneath sweeping skylights. The canyon-like escalator cores feature additional installations. Throughout the day, the dichroic glass catches the sunlight and paints the walls and floors with an ever-changing play of refracted rainbow colors. Night lighting hidden in artist-designed recessed wall ledges activates the work after dark.
