Linda McAllister curated an important collection of Mexican folk art and educational resources highlighting six Mexican artistic and cultural themes. They include symbols of Mexico, utilitarian objects of personal adornment, representations of local ecology, offerings and rituals, fiestas, and characters in Mexican folklore.  The collection also featured books and other interpretive materials designed specifically for Ironwood Library users and area teachers.​
