Community Development Block Grant Program
The Phoenix Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program is an annual allocation of funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to the city. These funds are for neighborhood revitalization, housing rehabilitation, construction of facilities such as senior and community centers, small business loan programs, social services and homeless assistance. The city provides these funds to Phoenix-based nonprofit agencies and groups through a variety of Request for Proposals (RFP) and open application programs.
The programs must benefit primarily low/moderate income persons or areas.
