The Community and Senior Services Division provides holistic and coordinated services to low-income, vulnerable and senior residents of Phoenix through a qualified and dedicated workforce. The Community Services Program offers a variety of social services to low-income households experiencing crisis. Services are provided through three family services centers, geographically dispersed throughout the city of Phoenix. Each center provides a broad range of assistance with urgent needs as well as short and long term case management services​​. Caseworkers assist individuals and families navigate complex social service networks and community resources that are accessible to them.

​Special Announcement- City of Phoenix Diaper Event:

The City of Phoenix will be providing diapers on a walk-in basis to eligible households. Families can receive up to 150 diapers per child at no cost.

When and Where: 

Come anytime between 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Thursday, November 14 and 21: Travis L. Williams Family Services Center, 4732 S. Central Ave. Phoenix, 85040

Must be at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level and reside in the City of Phoenix.

Please come prepared with the following documentation:

  • Parent or guardian picture I.D.

  • Child's Birth Certificate or document with BOTH parent and child's names listed.

  • Income verification (ex: paystub or SNAP/EBT)

Other program eligibility criteria vary.  Assistance may be restricted to once per 12-month period.
