Does your business or organization offer engaging, educational or health and wellness related presentations? If so, the City of Phoenix Human Services, Senior Programs Division wants to hear from you!

Our senior centers offer a broad spectrum of services, information and activities with topics including health & wellness, social, nutritional, culturaly diverse general education and consumer-oriented mat​ters and more! 

We are looking for businesses, government and educational entities within the community who are interested in facilitating presentations or workshops at our senior centers that directly impact the lives of our diverse members.

Become a Screened Presenter

Individuals, companies, organizations and/or agencies must be approved in advance to conduct presentations or distribute marketing materials at senior centers operated by the City of Phoenix, Human Services Department's Senior Programs Division. The following is required to be considered:

  • Submi​t an application and marketing materials (and/or create a link to fillable form)
  • A review of the application will be conducted to determine suitability of the presentations and to ensure there is no potential harm to clients nor liability to the city
  • A 45 day review period is required before an approval can be made
  • A $250 non-refundable application fee is due upon application approval. (Nonprofits, government agencies or educational institutions may request a fee waiver at the time of application for non-commercial presentations/materials) 
  • An approved applicant will appear on the Screened Presenter Approved List for 12 months. At the end of the one-year period, the applicant must reapply

​Rules/Restrictions

Applicants will be required to follow all programs restrictions listed below or risk removal from the Screened Presenter Approved List. The presenter will sign an agreement upon approval. 

Topics to be presented are selected to fit program needs and the interests of each centers' members. Presence on the Screened Presenter List does not guarantee a minimum number of presentations will be scheduled. 

  • The presenter may not solicit personal information from members
  • The selling of products or soliciting services on-site is prohibited
  • The presenters may not collect members' names and/or other contact information through mailing lists, sign-in sheets, drawing tickets, etc. 
  • Presenters may not make or arrange appointments with or for members on-site (it is at the members' discretion to contact each business or agency after the presentation)
  • Presenters may leave contact information in the form of handouts, business cards, etc. may be left at the end of the presentation for members to take
  • Scheduling a presentation is at the sole discretion of the senior center supervisor

​The City reserves the right to remove the organization from the Screened Presenter Program at any time, without refund of fee, if the organization does not follow program restrictions (as outlined above) or changes the nature of the presentation(s) or marketing materials outside the description provided on the application. The organization will have the right to ask for a review if such an incident occurs.
