​​How to upgrade to the new RSA Authenticator app on your mobile phone


1. Do not uninstall the RSA Authenticate App.  It is needed to migrate your credentials to the new app during the upgrade process.

                          ​

 

2. Search the Google Play or iPhone Apps Store for “RSA Authenticator." This is the current logo in app stores.

 

                                                                          

 

3. Download and install the RSA Authenticator App.

 

                                                                          

4. Once installed, open the RSA Authenticator app.  It will detect if the old app is installed and has valid credentials. The new app will ask you to migrate your credentials.  Click 'Yes, Migrate'. ​

 


5. Follow the on-screen steps to migrate.

 

6.  Your credentials will be migrated to the new Authenticator app, removed from the old Authenticate app, and updated automatically.

7.  Once migration is concluded and you open the app, you will be taken through the update logo acknowledgment process. When complete, a new logo for the RSA Authenticator app will appear on your device. This app will be used for authentication.​

 

8. You can now safely remove the old Authenticate app from your device.
