The city of Phoenix Youth and Education Office, in partnership with First Things First, opened four Families First Resource Centers in Phoenix.
Family resource centers give parents and caregivers the tools needed to support the learning and healthy development of their kids. Free services to help children build language and reading skills, health and nutrition education, and referrals to community resources are provided.
There are more than 30 family resource centers in Maricopa County focusing on strengthening families, providing positive parenting tools and nurturing early childhood development.
