On May 29, the city of Phoenix thanked the Phoenix Rotary 100 for donating $10,000 to create an outdoor fellowship sapce and a butterfly garden at Phoenix Starfish Place. ​
Starfish Place is one of the first permanent transitional housing complexes for survivors of human trafficking and their families.
Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, members of the City Council, Housing Department staff, community agencies and res
idents gathered for the dedication ceremony, a site tour, refreshments and a beautiful butte
rfly release activity.
