​​The Planning and Development Department (PDD) Announces New Features to SHAPE PHX, the City’s New Plan Review and Permitting System
The City of Phoenix is launching new features to its Plan Review and Permitting System, SHAPE PHX, which will provide even more support to customers searching for information and important project status updates.
These enhancements which launched on March 3, 2023, build upon the existing system to create an even more transparent process with more detailed tracking and search functions.
In the updated portal, customers will be able to run their own reports on specific PDD data points available in SHAPE PHX – similar to what is available in PDD Online.
The enhancements include:

Advanced searches allow customers to search property information, records, development statistics and more

The ability to share permits and records with your team or revoke access

More detailed tracking for your project and status updates
SHAPE PHX launched over the summer for single-family residential projects. The next release supporting Planning, Zoning & Historic Preservation is scheduled for Fall 2023.
