​Heads up, Phoenix drivers!
Our Traffic Management Center works diligently to manage the approximately 1,200 traffic signals in the City of Phoenix, coordinating timing and streamlining travel for all users of our roadways.
Beginning Friday, Jan. 31 at 4 a.m., a new traffic signal pattern will go into effect at one of the valley's largest intersections, 35th Avenue and Grand Avenue.
The traffic signal pattern will be adjusted at this intersection during the morning and evening rush hours. The new pattern is expected to reduce delay and improve commutes for those that travel on Grand Avenue.
