The Good Neighbor Program (GNP) works to increase resident participation in their neighborhood improvement activities by creating opportunities in which all residents feel comfortable with each other and their neighborhoods. The program is an eight-week leadership development program that offers the opportunity to speak with your elected and appointed leaders about how you can improve your community.
The program features a series of educational and self-awareness classes and workshops on a variety of topics including:
- Accessing your local government
- Information on landlord/tenant rights and foreclosures
- Improving communication between residents and city departments
- Building community pride
