Street Maintenance is responsible for many maintenance services in the public right-of-way, which include:
Asphalt repair including fixing potholes and cave-ins, and providing crack sealing and other pavement treatments
Street sweeping residential streets four times a year
Maintaining the storm drain system and drainage ways
Quick response to hazards in the streets

PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to request a sidewalk repair, per City
Ordinance Sec. 31-54 through 31-58 (PDF), sidewalk repairs are the responsibility of the abutting property owner.
Once a repair notice is received, the City of Phoenix is legally obligated to take action. This action could include holding the property owner responsible for all costs associated with any repairs made to the sidewalk.
