The Cave Creek Wash Trail is an 18-mile City of Phoenix trail along the Cave Creek Wash. The purpose of this project is to connect what is now an approximately 2,000-foot gap in the trail from east side of 19th Avenue, south of Greenway Road, to the south side of the Cave Creek Municipal Golf Course driveway. Construction of the new path was originally scheduled to begin this year, but the project schedule has changed. In working with other City departments, minor design changes were identified and are being addressed. Construction of the new path is anticipated to begin late February or early March 2014.
