Adaptive Vehicles and Pedal Bikes
Adaptive vehicles and traditional pedal bikes are available within the Micromobility Program boundary. To reserve a vehicle, a rider needs to download the designated app for Lime or Spin to their smartphone. For those who do not have access to a smartphone, they may contact Lime or Spin customer support at the phone number and email address listed in the section above.
Lime
The Lime Assist program will deliver an adaptive device directly to the rider. A rider can use the vehicle for free for 24 hours. A rider needs to sign up to use the vehicle at least 48 hours in advance.
Spin
The Spin Adaptive Scooter Program will deliver an adaptive device directly to the rider. The vehicle can be rented between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., and must be returned to the address provided by 4 p.m. The rental is free and a rider needs to sign up to use the vehicle at least 24 hours in advance.
Spin traditional pedal bikes can be rented between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., and must be returned to the address

Rules for Riders
- Riders are required to operate micromobility vehicles in the roadway, riding on sidewalks is prohibited
- Helmets are encouraged, but not required
- Riders must be at least 18 years old
- Riders are required to obey all traffic laws (including DUI)
- Micromobility vehicles are only allowed to operate within the program boundary limits and outside of no ride zones. including construction zones.
- E-scooters have a maximum speed of 15 miles per hour and e-bikes have a maximum speed of 20 miles per hour
Rules for parking depend on where the trip ends:
- Inside the Downtown Core: Riders must park their vehicle at one of the nearly 160 designated parking areas within the downtown core, defined by white posts with parking decals. The parking locations can be found within each operator's mobile app and by zooming in on the program boundary map.
- Outside the Downtown Core: At the end of their ride, a rider must park by locking the vehicle (using the built-in smart lock) to a bicycle rack or other vertical element in the right-of-way.
Safety Tips
Do:
- Ride on the street or in a bike lane (if available)
- Travel in the same direction as traffic
- Obey all traffic laws
- Always ride with two hands
- Only ride one person per scooter or bike
- Wear a helmet
- Be aware of your surroundings
- Yield to pedestrians
Don't:
- Ride on the sidewalk
- Let children ride on a scooter or bike (must be at least 18 years old)
- Leave scooter or bike where it is impeding pedestrian access
- Ride with distractions - don't text and ride
- Ride intoxicated - take transit or use a taxi/rideshare service
- Ride in construction zones
