Check out APS SolarSmart, a tool that provides a customized solar (+storage) estimate for your home to understand your savings potential installing a rooftop solar system.
In addition to APS SolarSmart , APS offers the APS Solar Communities program which is a unique opportunity for limited-income and moderate-income residential customers, who may not have considered solar as an option, to help advance solar in Arizona. APS handles the installation and any maintenance, while you get the bill credit.
You can also find a list of Qualified Technology Installers who can help advise, install and maintain the suite of technologies connected to your home. Find solar, battery storage, cooling & heating and electric vehicle charging station installers, plus qualified contractors for a home energy checkup.

City of Phoenix SolarAPP
SolarAPP is a third-party software program that can be used to verify code compliance for residential photovoltaic (PV) projects. The City of Phoenix Planning & Development Department (PDD) will accept SolarAPP approved designs for application and permitting of residential photovoltaic projects, reducing permitting times.
The Phoenix Fire Department requires a separate permit for photovoltaic and battery energy storage systems.
