Join the City of Phoenix Water Conservation Office for an educational water workshop for educators, by educators!
How can you sign up?
Just fill out the form on this page to sign up for the workshops. Feel free to invite another Phoenix teacher friend to join. The more educators involved in water education, the better we can raise the next generation of Water Scholars! Space is limited, so sign up soon. We hope to see you there this summer!
What should you expect?
On Day 1, we will begin with background on water in Phoenix and Arizona as a whole.
Start by learning where Phoenix's water comes from, how we use it, and what the current issues are.
On Day 2, we want to hear from you!
What are your needs in water education as a whole?
How can we best support you in those efforts?
What feedback do you have on our current offerings?
We will work with each other in small and large group sessions to learn how to develop the next generation of PHX Water Scholars!
Free water conservation resources will be provided to teachers. Space is limited to 20 participants per session. Lunch is provided each session.
The Teacher Listening Workshops Are Flexible.
We know how valuable your summer break is. We want to give you the best experience possible in a concise, flexible format. Choose from multiple dates that fit your summer schedule. That way, you will not have to miss out on any crucial information, and you can meet different educators concerned about water and sustainability in Phoenix across the two sessions.
The workshops are for all teachers who are interested in bringing water into their work. Water education can and should be an interdisciplinary topic. All grade levels, class subjects, and knowledge levels are welcome and encouraged to join!
