Today is Election Day!

November 5, 2024 9:00 AM

Today, November 5, 2024, is the Phoenix City Council Election for Districts 1, 3, 5 and 7 and the Special Vacancy Election in District 7! Your vote is your voice, make sure to cast or drop-off your voted ballot by 7 PM.   

Voting locations will be open to voters from 6 AM to 7 PM. Find a voting location by visiting Locations.Maricopa.Vote or call 602-506-1511. Voters must provide identification at all in-person voting locations before receiving a ballot. As a reminder, voted ballots can still be dropped off at a drop box or at any in-person voting location. To be counted, ballots must be received by 7 PM Tuesday, November 5, 2024. 

City of Phoenix election results will include: 

  • Candidate races for the Regular Mayor and Council Election in Districts 1, 3, 5 and 7

  • Candidate race for the Special Vacancy Election in District 7 

  • Three ballot measure propositions referred by the City Council 

    • PROP. 487: Locally Controlled Alternative Expenditure Limitation 

    • PROP. 488: General Plan 

    • PROP. 489: Citizens’ Commission on Salaries for Elected City Officials.  

Maricopa County will release initial unofficial results after 8 PM on Election Night, Tuesday, November 5, 2024. The results will be displayed on Results.Maricopa.Vote and phoenix.gov/results. The city will update the results on phoenix.gov/results as Maricopa County provides new information. 

Maricopa County will process and tabulate ballots cast on Election Day over the next several days after the election.
