Meet Richard Tillman, the first resident of an innovative project by the City of Phoenix to use converted shipping containers as shelter space. The units, called XWings, are located at the Washington Relief Shelter. In partnership with St. Vincent de Paul and Steel + Spark, the XWings provide a unique solution, offering more independent residents shelter in a more private setting.
