Self-Certification Program Class Registration

A training class from the Planning & Development Department is required prior to approval as a self-certified professional.
Please register as early as possible. Classes will be cancelled if a minimum number of registrants is not met.

Upcoming classes and fees are:

2025 Sessions:

Self Certification Renewal
Half-day class, 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Classes will be held remotely via WebEx.

$150 fee. No discount for additional registrants from same firm.

• January 23, 2025 (Payment due by January 3, 2025)
• March 27, 2025 (Payment due by March 7, 2025)
• June 26, 2025 (Payment due by June 6, 2025)
• September 25, 2025 (Payment due by September 5, 2025)

Building and Parking Lot Plans
Two-day class, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (separate for part of day 1). Classes will be held remotely via WebEx.

$1,500 fee. Additional registrants from same firm - $750.

• April 16, 2025 and April 17, 2025 (Payment due by March 24, 2025)
• October 22, 2025 and October 23, 2025 (Payment due by September 26, 2025)

Landscape and Parking Lot Plans
One day class, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (separate for part of day) Classes will be held remotely via WebEx.

$500 fee. Additional registrants from same firm -$250.

• April 16, 2025 (Payment due by March 24, 2025)
• October 22, 2025 (Payment due by September 26, 2025)

Grading and Drainage (G&D)/Stormwater Management and Parking Lot Plans
One day class, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (separate for part of day) Classes will be held remotely via WebEx.

$500 fee. Additional registrants from same firm -$250.

• October 22, 2025 (Payment due by September 26, 2025)

Structural Peer Reviewers
Two-hour class, 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Classes will be held remotely via WebEx.

$250 fee. No discount for additional registrants from same firm.

• April 23, 2025 (Payment due by April 4, 2025)
• October 29, 2025 (Payment due by October 3, 2025)

Electrical Peer Reviewers
Two-hour class, 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Classes will be held remotely via WebEx.

$250 fee. No discount for additional registrants from same firm.

• April 24, 2025 (Payment due by April 4, 2025)
• October 30, 2025 (Payment due by October 3, 2025)

Please register as early as possible to confirm your place in the class. Classes for new participants to the program are scheduled two times per year; April and October. Renewal classes are offered four times per year. Please note that classes may be cancelled at the City's discretion based on enrollment numbers.

Payment is not required for registration, but it must be received by the date listed above.
