City
of Phoenix police officers and firefighters are committed to providing the
highest level of public safety service for our community. But their efforts
aren’t limited to responding to emergency situations. Phoenix public safety
staff works each day to reach out to residents, to ensure that the changing
needs of the community are met.
The Phoenix Police Department’s Community Engagement and Outreach Task Force (now sunset) was comprised of members of the community
who continually work to address residents’ concerns about how the Phoenix Police
Department can better serve the community.
The Phoenix Fire Department responds to more than 170,000 calls for service
each year. While firefighters are busy, they are just as committed to reaching
out to residents with a goal of providing the highest level of service to the
community.
