Steps to Attending a Class

1.  Call to enroll your child in the class or complete the on-line Referral Form

2.  You will receive a written invitation and directions to the class.  

3.  You will also receive a  Community Service Worksheet for your child to complete.  Submission of a completed Community Service Form will entitle your child to a Certificate of Youth Firesetter Class completion.

The Youth Firesetter Intervention Program offers free monthly classes for children and youth ages three to seventeen years of age.  A parent or guardian is required to attend the youth firesetter class with their child.  The entire family is encouraged to attend and observe the class.


Youth, ages 7-17, and youth diverted by the juvenile court attend one Thursday class from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Please arrive no later than 2:30 p.m. for registration.  All classes are held at the Phoenix Fire Department Fire Administration Building located at 150 S. 12th Street in Phoenix, Arizona.

Classes are held the first Thursday of each month
