What the Municipal Court Doesn't Do

Phoenix Municipal Court is a Limited Jurisdiction court.  The types of cases we handle ranges from parking tickets to criminal misdemeanors that have taken place within the city limits.

Type of cases that we do not handle include:

• Divorce Proceedings
• Custody Cases
• Felony Cases
• Marriage Licenses
• Civil Lawsuits
• Tickets issued by Maricopa County Sheriff's Office
