Housing Repairs and Rehabilitation Programs
Neighborhood Services' Housing Repairs and Rehabilitation Programs improve the health and safety of homes by repairing vital home systems, such as plumbing, electrical and structural systems of eligible homes. NSD also aims to make homes more energy-efficient, to facilitate lead-safe and healthy homes, and to address property violations through its other programs.
To be considered for Housing Repairs Program, an owner-occupied residential property must be located within the city Phoenix boundaries and the household must meet income requirements. A complete household assessment must be completed to see if a property qualifies. The household income eligibility (as of May 1, 2024) is dictated by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Once a household assessment has been completed, staff will evaluate the needs and assign staff to further assess the property in-person.
