It would also be very beneficial if interns already have a basic understanding of telemarketing and/or media surveys, Microsoft Office products, geographic information systems, ESRI software including ArcGIS for Desktop and its extensions, working with and analyzing data in Excel JMP or other statistical software programs databases and/or spreadsheets. However, students will receive training on all required software tools. Water Services Staff closely monitors all work and analytical results.

Paid internships are compensated at $23.74 per hour for a 20-hour work week. Paid interns are considered part-time employees and eligible for earned paid sick time, city training, and free or discounted bus and light rail fares.
Unpaid internships are not compensated; however, interns are eligible for free or discounted parking and/or bus and light rail fares. Previous unpaid interns have earned internship credit hours through their universities or colleges. Please see your department for credit requirements.
