Smart Windows & Hearing Loops Technology at Phoenix Sky Harbor

In this Innovate PHX spotlight, experience award-winning Smart Cities technologies in action at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, including Hearing Loop technology that connects hearing aids directly to the airport’s public address system. And electrochromic glazed glass that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to automatically adjust to the sun, reducing heat and glare and improving energy efficiency by as much as 20 percent.
Improve Wastewater Monitoring with Kando Pulse

The City of Phoenix Water Services Department is working on a pilot program with KandoPulse that utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) technology to monitor pollutants in the sewer system. The sensors can detect hazards, such as industrial wastes, that could potentially disrupt wastewater treatment operations. Phoenix is the second city in the U.S. to use the Kando Pulse sensors.
