Application for the Preservation and Reinvestment Initiative for Community Enhancement (PRICE) Grant
The City of Phoenix Housing Department, in collaboration with the Human Services Department and Neighborhood Services Department, has applied for the maximum award of $75 million in grant funding under the PRICE Main competition. If awarded, funds will be utilized to support preservation and revitalization activities for existing manufactured housing communities and manufactured housing units, in addition to housing, education, and supportive services for existing residents. These efforts support the Housing Phoenix Plan’s goal of preserving existing affordable housing.
The application deadline was July 10, 2024, and award announcements are expected in late fall 2024. If awarded, this page will be updated with further information on the City’s grant activities.
Background
The PRICE Grant is designed to provide funding for the preservation and revitalization of manufactured housing and eligible manufactured housing communities. U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has allocated $235 million in competitive grant funding that will be distributed to approximately 25 awards nationwide. The PRICE grant is divided into two categories, a main competition (PRICE Main) and a replacement pilot (PRICE Replacement Pilot), which are available to local and state governments, nonprofit entities, and multijurisdictional entities.
