    PHXTV Studio

    PHX11 began in 1984 as the city of Phoenix's government access cable channel ​​with a staff of four and five minutes of programming per week.

    Today, the award-winning PHXTV provides quality programs that educate, inform and entertain residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week such as:

    • ​​Exclusive live gavel-to-gavel coverage of City Council policy sessions.
    • On the Issues featuring Phoenix City Council members and keeping residents informed about issues, programs and activities in their district.
    • Programs that give the public an inside view of how city departments operate.

    Meet the Team

    Erick Moreno

    Erick Moreno is an award-winning media producer with 24 years of video production experience in broadcast news, corporate communications, public television, and government television.

    A Southern Arizona native and University of Arizona alum, Erick is a Multimedia Specialist at PHXTV. His work spans all facets of television production and digital communications including writing; producing; videography; directing; editing; and on-camera talent. He is also a skilled animator and motion graphics producer.

    Whether out on the field or in the edit suite, Erick strives to create the best work possible, with whatever resources are available, and no matter the scale of the task at hand​.

    Jason Ingersoll

    Jason Ingersoll is an award-winning videographer, photographer, and editor. Jason has been in the video production field for more than 22 years. At PHXTV, Jason serves as an on-air and off-air multimedia journalist.

    He is also part of the social media team for the City of Phoenix and assists with keeping the residents of the 5th largest city in the country informed and up to date on important updates and initiatives.

    Jason’s passion for storytelling can be seen in every photo he captures, video piece he edits, and social media post he makes. Before working at PHXTV, Jason served in the United States Marine Corps as a combat photographer. During his time in the Marines, he had the honor of documenting major events and milestones for the military and our country. Jason has also worked as a forensic photo specialist with the Phoenix Police Department.

    Davronja Dossie

    Davronja is a proud Phoenix native and Arizona State University alumni. At an early age, she knew she wanted a career in television and ironically found that with the city of Phoenix.

    Davronja has been a dedicated employee for 20+ years, starting​​ with the city's former education station, know99 Television. As a reporter, producer, and editor she told stories to highlight Phoenix youth and education. She also negotiated contracts to broadcast nationally produced educational programming. Her work has garnered several awards in the broadcast industry.

    Davronja is currently a Multimedia Specialist for PHXTV, where she creates content to further the city's mission of serving residents. She finds her work to be rewarding and gratifying.

    Matt Barcellos

    Matt Barcellos is an award-winning Multimedia Specialist at PHXTV with over 40 years of experience in all areas of video production. He creates, produces, directs, records and edits video programming for PHXTV and City of Phoenix social media.

    ​Before coming to work at PHXTV, Matt worked in local television as a newscast director, master control operator, broadcast technician and news photographer/editor at TV stations in Tempe, Flagstaff and Tucson. He also has many years of experience as a freelance director of photography/videographer and live event multicamera director and sports production technician for local major league and collegiate sports. In addition, he teaches video production at Glendale Community College.

    In 1984 when the City of Tucson started Tucson Cable 12, Matt was instrumental in the creation and startup of the channel. Two years later he came to the City of Phoenix to start what was then the Phoenix Channel but is now PHXTV.

    He has always been a storyteller. Over the years his favorite stories to tell are about the City of Phoenix and the people who live here. Some of his favorite subjects are the performing and visual arts, architecture, history, historic preservation, aviation, innovation, sustainability and science.

    When Matt isn't working you can find him grilling in his backyard, hiking in the Phoenix mountain preserves, biking along a canal or enjoying a taco and enchilada combo plate at one of Phoenix's many great Mexican food restaurants.​​​

    ​Felipe Peña

    Felipe Peña has been in the professional broadcasting world for over 35 years. He started in Televisa, a network in Mexico. Felipe has used his work experience to expand his knowledge in producing, editing and reporting for major telecommunications companies such as Telemundo, KPNX 12,TBN and 3TV/CBS5.

    Felipe has also covered public work in the local community. He brings forth his talents and energy into filming and creating promotions for organizations across the valley.

    He has broadened his experience in the film industry through his documentary work, filming in different countries throughout the world. Whether it is filming locally or internationally, Felipe strives to bring forth his best in every aspect of his professional career.
