    Public Transit Title VI

    Notice to the Public: The City of Phoenix Public Transit Department hereby gives notice that it is the agency’s policy to assure full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. These federal statutes require that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color or national origin be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program, activity or service the City of Phoenix Public Transit Department administers.

    How to File a Title VI Complaint

    The City of Ph​oenix is your point of contact should you feel you need to file a Title VI complaint about Phoenix-operated transit service (local Phoenix bus, RAPID and/or Dial-a-Ride). Any such complaint must be filed within 180 days of the alleged discriminatory act, or its last occurrence.

    Valley Metro 

    If the alleged discriminatory act took place on a Valley Metro operated transit service (light rail, Express, East Valley local bus and Dial-a-Ride), please file complaint directly with Valley Metro.
