    Victim Services Division

    The Victim Services Division offers access to professionally trained Victim Advocates in areas of domestic violence, sexual assault, human and sex trafficking, and other violent crimes such as domestic violence homicides, criminal vehicular fatalities, and fatalities/near fatalities involving encounters with police officers. Our goal is to empower victims and family members as they begin the process of finding safety, personal healing, stabilization, and navigating law enforcement and criminal justice systems.

    The Victim Services Division operates the City of Phoenix Family Advocacy Center, a facility offering evidence-based programming and services including coordinated responses for victimized adults and abused children. Services are offered through multi-disciplinary partnerships in a centralized setting offering a holistic approach to violent crime investigations in a supportive environment.

    The Phoenix Family Advocacy Center offers support in the following:

    ·         Safety planning

    ·         Filing an Order of Protection

    ·         Applying for the Address Confidentiality Program

    ·         Coping with the effects of trauma

    ·         Community resources and referrals

    ·         Navigation with law enforcement and criminal justice systems

    ·         Therapeutic counseling services referrals
