Code of Conduct for the Responsible Use of Generative AI at the City of Phoenix:

This Code of Conduct outlines the ethical principles for the responsible use of generative AI technology. As AI systems become an increasingly integral part of our daily operations, it is essential to ensure that they are used in a way that aligns with our organizational values, fosters trust, and minimizes risks to individuals and society.

The following principles are designed to help employees use generative AI in a responsible, fair, and transparent manner.

7. The City shall ensure that all AI systems used comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards governing data privacy, intellectual property, anti-discrimination, and other relevant areas.
