Roosevelt Street from 15th to 7th Avenues

The Phoenix Street Transportation Department is proposing to widen the bicycle lanes on Roosevelt Street between 15th and 7th avenues. The proposed changes would affect on-street parking, but the number of driving lanes would remain the same.

Pavement maintenance (new asphalt) is scheduled along this corridor, which presents an opportunity to reconfigure the striping. If approved, the updates to the bicycle lanes would happen shortly thereafter. A more specific timeline for the pavement project will be available at a later date.

These bicycle lanes connect to existing active transportation infrastructure in the Grand Avenue arts district, along 15th Avenue and through to the Roosevelt Row arts district.
