Since its inception, the task force has found ways to save the city more than $76 million, and the City Manager set a new goal of $100 million in total savings by December 2015.
In its fifth year, the Innovation and Efficiency Task Force will be more focused on specific issues needing thoughtful discussion, strategic approaches, and creative solutions. Over the next several months, the Task Force will be working closely with Parks, Street Transportation and the Public Works Departments to address the maintenance issues of citywide parks and streets landscaping and building maintenance.
Recommendations will be posted here as they are approved by the Phoenix City Council.
