A Project WET water festival is a interactive day of lessons and activities, where staff and volunteers teach Phoenix's 4th-grade students about water resources and conservation topics. This is a great opportunity to build the resilience of our desert community by engaging with and educating students to become stewards of our desert community's most precious resource. Visit our Conservation Events page to learn more about the Arizona Project WET programming, including volunteering opportunities with us. Teachers and curriculum coordinators are also invited to attend Teacher Academies, coordinated by Project WET. Teacher Academies provide professional development that evolves teachers' instructional practice and water-related content mastery through STEM integration, student-directed learning, real-world and relevant application, and collaborative work.
