    Energy Efficiency with Weatherization

Would you like to reduce your costs to heat and cool your home? The City of Phoenix Weatherization Assistance Program may be able to help reduce your utility costs and make your home more energy efficient through health and safety repairs and improvements.

The Weatherization Assistance Program is a free, grant-funded program for eligible Phoenix homeowners and renters who meet the current household income limits.

    How Does the Program Work?

The Weatherization Assistance Program is based on a scientific repair process that views each home as a complete and independent system. This comprehensive approach relies on inspections and assessments to judge the condition of a home and determine if Weatherization assistance is possible.

The Program will evaluate your home to find out if one or more of the following services will improve the energy efficiency of your home:

    • Air Sealing
    • Efficient light sources
    • High efficiency appliances
    • Carbon monoxide detectors
    • Attic insulation and ventilation
    • Home energy efficiency assessments
    • Repair or replacement of heating and cooling equipment
