If you already have an active lifeguard certification from StarGuard Elite (SGE), you do not have to take our Lifeguard Certification course to join our team, just complete the online application.

Lifeguards:
Lifeguard
- $17.72 per hour
- Must be at least 15 years old
Shallow Water Lifeguard
- $16.88 per hour
- Must be at least 15 years old
Swim Lesson Instructor
- $19.54 per hour
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Requires a separate certification (Starfish Swim Instructor SSI)
Pool Cashier
Provide great customer service and use a point of sale computer to register guests for swim programs.
- $15.69 per hour
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Must be friendly and good with people
Mascot "Buddy Bear"
Perform in the "Buddy Bear" mascot suit at pools and special events citywide.
- $15.69 per hour
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Must be energetic and outgoing
Assistant Pool Manager
Provide hands-on training and supervise a team of people to create a safe and fun pool environment.
- $21.54 per hour
- Must be able to lead and train a team in an aquatics environment
Pool Manager
Supervise, train and schedule a team of people, while providing quality programming and guest services.
- $23.74 or $26.18 per hour
- Must have great leadership skills to supervise a team
Program Specialist
Plan, coordinate and supervise special programs and events at multiple pools citywide.
- $23.74 per hour
- Must be organized, and have computer and supervisor skills
Equipment Operator
Operate city pickup trucks, flatbeds and vans; includes transporting youth from pools to special events.
- $18.60 per hour
- A valid driver's license is required
