• Be an educated consumer and ask for all product specifications before remodeling.

• Look for water-using-products that are low-flow, water-efficient or carry a WaterSense label (see Related Links at bottom of left navigation bar).

• Choose only high-efficiency water-using fixtures and appliances that will provide long-term return on your investment.

• Repair leaks; and

• Replace high-water-using fixtures and appliances with water-efficient ones such as low-flow toilets, showers and faucets, and high-efficiency clothes washers and dishwashers.
