    Phoenix Women's Commission

    PWC Member Photo 2023

    Provides advocacy, leadership, and support on issues facing women of all ages to enhance their quality of life. The Commission promotes the participation of women in civic and public affairs and advises the mayor and City Council on issues significant to women.

    • Helping women gain access to education through academic scholarships
    • Providing information and resources to increase safety for victims of domestic violence
    • Enhancing financial literacy and economic independence for women
    • Providing a vital link between government and community
    • Building community partnership tha promote the status of women
    • Identifying and addressing issues of critical importance to women

    Membership

    Members are expected to attend meetings on the 2nd Monday at 3:00 pm, every month at:

    Phoenix Burton Barr Central Library, 4th Floor Lecture Room

    1221 North Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85004
