    Active Transportation Program

    Active transportation is walking, bicycling, using a small wheeled vehicle, or a mobility device. It includes e-scooters and other types of lightweight, electric vehicles. The Active Transportation Program works to create a connected, enjoyable, equitable, and safe infrastructure network for everyone in Phoenix.

    Shared Micromobility Program Shared e-scooters and e-bikes — also known as micromobility — provide a sustainable and convenient way to get around Phoenix connecting people and places. These devices provide an alternative transportation option for short trips. Find out how you can rent one of these devices!

    Standard bike lane: 1,194.54 lane miles

    Two-way bike lane: 1.99 lane miles

    Bus bike lane: 1.79 lane miles

    Shared use path - unpaved: 40.76 centerline miles

    Shared use path - paved: 75.55 centerline miles

    Bicycle and pedestrian tunnel: 1.63 centerline miles

    Bicycle and pedestrian bridge: 2.51 centerline miles
