Contact the Phoenix Mayor's Commission on Disabilities

Mission: The Phoenix Mayor's Commission on Disability Issues (MCDI) addresses issues affecting people with disabilities in the city of Phoenix. The commission provides input on accessibility to city facilities and properties, and public transportation needs for people with disabilities.

It also assists the city to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The commission coordinates the MCDI Employment, Education and Training Grant program.

The commission is made up of 17 volunteer citizens appointed by the mayor and City Council for 3 years terms. Members have expertise and/or a strong interest in making Phoenix a barrier-free city for all its residents.
